Rica de Ocampo:
Along with being an actor, Rica is a classically trained soprano, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a pole dance artist. As a singer, she has performed all over the world and was a guest of honor at the White House for proclamation of black music month in the summer of 2001. She is the 2010 Polesque champion, and was most recently seen on stage in the National Asian American Theater Company’s (NAATCO) production of August Strindberg’s “A Dream Play.” Rica studied at the University of Michigan and the William Esper Studio.
Elizabeth Weitzen:
Elizabeth Weitzen is thrilled to unleash Beth, her new alter ego, on Mondo City. A San Francisco Bay Area Native, Elizabeth has a BFA in acting and costume design from NYU, where she studied with Stella Adler Studios, the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School, and Mary Overlie’s Viewpoints Intensive. You can also see Elizabeth in videos with her forthcoming sketch group Go Funny Yourself and in experimental Shakespeare productions with NYC theatre troupe The Dark Lady Players. In addition to wearing capes and tights – really, whenever possible – Elizabeth spends her days wooing her gorgeous (and aloof) cat Natasha, concocting culinary indulgences, re-reading Vonnegut, volunteering to fight breed-specific legislation (PinupsForPitbulls.com), and hunting for vintage shoes.
